MORNING HUNTS
AFTERNOON HUNTS
There is nothing quite like watching seasoned dogs work and lock on point. The anticipated flush and rush of a covey is an experience every wing-shooter dreams about.
That's why we hunt predominately for Northern Bobwhite quail. Their explosive takeoffs and elusive ground tactics make Bobwhite quail some of the most challenging hunting.
Have a hankering for something different? Other species such as pheasant and chukar are also available by special request, but pricing must be determined at time of booking.

Explosive Action at Every Bend
It’s quite hard to spot a Northern Bobwhite, as the bird’s elegantly dappled plumage offers excellent camouflage. They forage in groups, scurrying between cover or bursting into flight if alarmed. Fortunately, we've got seasoned dogs that love to point them out for you.
Ready to try something a bit different from the quail you grew up with? Introducing the chukar. This plump 13–14 in. long ground-dwelling bird would rather walk or run than fly, but when frightened they explode into the air with a piercing squeal.
These big and showy birds launch themselves from cover with astounding speed. These roosters are much harder to hit than you would think, but maybe that's just the adrenaline they induce.
